Expertos de la Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco las declararon falsas, por lo que la Diputaci\u00f3n Foral de \u00c1lava en 2008 expuls\u00f3 al equipo arqueol\u00f3gico, present\u00f3 en 2009 en el juzgado una denuncia por falsificaci\u00f3n y entreg\u00f3 la direcci\u00f3n del yacimiento a la universidad.
